Anita Briem and Anisa Butt
Anita Briem was born in Iceland. Anita is best known as the actress who played Jane Seymour in the TV series The Tudors. Briem's acting career began in the National Theater Iceland when she was just nine years old. In her native Iceland she worked on the television, radio, and different programs while a young actress. Briem was able to move to London when he was 16 and took part in a play production that was staged at the New End Theater called Lenin in Love. Briem 19 years old, she was accepted into the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. She studied there for three years. Briem earned her degree in Drama, and was awarded the John Barton Prize under the Scenic Fight category. Briem was a part of a variety of productions at RADA such as The Cherry Garden, by Anton Chekhov, and Bernarda Alba's house, from Federico Garcia Lorca.
